HOW
TO FIND YOUR FOOD ALLERGIES
Many people have symptoms which effect more than one body system.
The more symptoms you experience, the greater the
likelihood that your symptoms are stimulated by the foods you eat.
Mold or yeast contaminants in foods or the chemicals and preservatives
added to them add to the naturally occuring chemicals in foods.
This diet is designed to eliminate all foods which
contain mold and yeast allergens, chemical contaminants and preservatives,
the most common food allergens, and foods to which you may be addicted.
This elimination diet should
be followed strictly, for 7 days. After this period instructions
will be given based on your clinical response.

FOODS
THAT YOU EAT ADDICTIVELY: DO NOT EAT Those foods that
you eat almost everyday. They may be causing allergy symptoms
due to an addictive allergy. These foods, too, must be removed
from your diet. We will discuss them with you and those we suspect
will be eliminated. |
It is extremely important that this diet be carried
out without any violations, otherwise it will be very difficult
to determine its effectiveness. You may actually feel worse the
first few days since you are breaking up the addictive food allergies,
but toward the end of the week you should start to feel much better
as your symptoms clear.
Some guidelines which will be helpful are: Eat
only simply prepared, single foods raw, steamed or broiled. Eat
only one thing at a meal. Read all labels on packaged foods. Do
not eat any meals out; if you must eat away from home, prepare your
own food to go. Make a list of foods you can eat and plan a menu
so that you know what your next meal will be; this eliminates frustration
and mistakes. Be patient and faithful to your diet;
Seven days is not really a very long time and even
a small indiscretion can set you back. Keep your food journal (one
of the doctors will explain how.)
Remember, you're going to a lot of trouble, so
do it right. You will be glad you did.
